Ganna (Anna or Hanna) Solovey of Ukraine won the U23 time trial on the first day of the European Championships in Czech Republic with DRAG Firebird.
She covered the 22.4 km in 28:38.45, a whole minute and 35 seconds ahead of her closest rival, Rossella Ratto of Italy. The bronze medal was taken by Ksenia Dobrinina of Russia.
Ganna rides DRAG's latest road model - Firebird - which was specially created for the Ukrainian national team and is still not on sale to the general public. The Ukrainians compete on the track with DRAG Bluebird.
