DRAG and Velomania take part in European Mobility Week 2013 with a week of free bike servicing, free test drive of DRAG e-bikes and new bike models.

DRAG is partnering with the Bulgarian Photovoltaic Association and Ecomobility from September 16th to 22nd by offering free test drive of DRAG e-bikes and other electric vehicles provided by Ecomobility as well as free charging between the hours of 3pm and 5pm every day thanks to the solar panels installed by the BPA in front of the Soviet Army monument in central Sofia.

Evenings will see a variety of presentations and seminars, culminating in the 'Velokino' event on Friday 20th where the cult bikers film 'Not Bad' will be shown for free as part of Park(ing) Day.

Come along for a free bikes service from 2-8 p.m every day in front of the monument of the Soviet Army and to try out our latest and most popular models.

Mayor of Bozhurishte Asparuh Asparuhov opened the free bike park together with Svetla Blagova of Overgas, Detlef Wessling of the European Business Congress and Dragomir Kouzov of DRAG bicycles on October 7 2013.

Part of the European Business Congress's 'Bicycle-Ecology and Health' project, the bike share pilot project provides 25 bikes for the citizens of the town of Bozhurishte. Bozhurishte was chosen as the recipient of the donation on the strength of its plans to encourage cycling among its citizens.

The wider project of the European Business Congress envisages the creation of bike parks in 4 municipalities in different parts of Europe - Sochi in Russia, Bozhurishte in Bulgaria, Novi Sad in Serbia and Satlice in the Czech Republic. The goal of the project is to encourage municipalities to invest in and develop cycle transport on their own.

The bicycles are all Drag City Hawk in dark blue with white trim and branded to DRAG, Overgas and European Business Congress.
